So before my post "A New Direction" creeps too far down the list into obscurity, I thought it a good idea to reiterate what the blog is about. Occupy in just a couple of months has changed the dialog in this nation, bringing topics to light (wealth inequality, corporate dominance in government) that sorely need to be discussed. I feel this struggle needs to continue, as so many are yet still blind to the circumstances we live in. At the same time, the awake among us need to consider a direction from here, I feel. Becoming stagnant is not an option. This is where I call on all the counter-culturists, the radicals, the revolutionaries... the "culture-jammers" that have brilliant ideas gnawing away in their brains to come forward and share. Tell me what you feel we could be, where you think we could go. Together we can forge ahead into a world of our own design, but we need direction. That's what I hope this site can become; a wealth of ideas from the world of Occupy and traditional activists, from the radicals arrested in Liberty Square and Oakland to just concerned citizens in Smalltown, USA... all are welcome.
